I’ve taken that experience and created the best ramps in the world! We can say that
because we’ve made the comparison and so have many of the top professional skaters.
ESPN and Van’s Triple Crown have called us to make some of the most thrilling courses ever built.
We’ve built nearly 200 parks. We didn’t gain this level of trust and confidence on the playground.
Many new companies are jumping into the skatepark business because the sport is rapidly
growing. As one company states in their literature, while we were inventing the sport, they were
off doing something else.

3 Superior Ride
When we introduced Skatelite to the skating
industry it changed the sport by allowing the rider
to have complete control. The feel and control of
Skatelite leads to a superior ride that skaters want
and notice. Not only are we building the ramps,
we are skating them allowing us to gain the
knowledge from inside the sport and out. Pitches
and the angles of ramps are also key, and the only
way to know which ones to use is to actual skate

Ramps that are situated along the outer edges of the
park and are used as starting points, to turn around,
and to maintain speed.
Examples
Bank Ramps, Quarterpipes, Ledge Banks
BEGINNER
Often situated near entrance, used by beginners and
as a warm up area for more advanced users.
Usually ramps (3’ and under) designed for beginner
and intermediate users (will also occasionally be used
by advanced users)
INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED
Larger ramps (4’ and over) designed for higher skilled
users (may also be used by beginners with caution).
The largest percentage of users prefer these ramps,
beginners quickly advance to this level.

"Creating the right ride"— Designing a skatepark takes more than technical understanding, it
requires imagining the experience and drawing from that imagination to conceive the perfect design. Skatepark
designers who are experienced skaters have a great advantage over non-skating designers because they are able to
translate their experience into designs that work. Their ability to sense the perspective, the momentum and the correct
distances is key to creating skateparks that are successful. At Ramptech we insist that all of our designers and engineers
are able to ride the ramps that they create. Because of our dedication to quality, our skateparks are preferred by
advanced and beginner skaters all over the country.
THE DESIGN
STEP
1
Skatepark Creator allows you to design precise layouts; just
enter the size of your park and add any Ramptech ramp model
to create your plan. A three dimensional model is developed which
allows the layout to be analyzed from all angles in order to ensure
that it is optimized for usability, function, and safety.
THE COLLABORATION
Once your design is complete, it can be saved and printed.
The design can be shared with local skaters, inliners, and bikers to
get feedback. The layout will also be sent to Ramptech so that we
can give planning advice and pricing information.

Ramptech continues to lead the skatepark industry by introducing
the first, free, online skatepark design software available at
www.ramptech.com. All you need is a browser and you will be
on your way to making your skatepark a reality.
Whether you are a skater, a city official, or a private investor,
dreaming up the perfect park, and putting your ideas on paper,
is made simple.

THE PRODUCTION
Using information from the design and engineering plans,
the park is installed to exact specifications. Ramptech’s expert skaters
then test the park to make sure that everything works perfectly. Once
the final clearance is given, the park is ready for the public to enjoy.
