APPENDIXAppendix 10: Process of this evaluation – step by stepTo achieve this evaluation, the team took thefollowing fifteen steps over an extended periodof 24 months:• Preliminary meetings between members ofthe Steering Committee and Wuchopperen;• Scoping visit by the Sydney based membersof the evaluation team to Wuchopperen;• Bibliometric analysis and literature review;• Writing and submission of student protocolto the Post Graduate Co-ordinator andthe academic supervisor of the studentcomponent of this evaluation;• Creation of trigger question instrumentsand information sheets, consent forms,community letters and other materials for theevaluation team;• Ethics application development, review,submission and eventual approval process,to both Wuchopperen and the University’sEthical Review Committees;• Development of the poster demonstrationsand other presentations for the program andthe evaluation methodology;• Data collection, both in person and via thetelephone, on site at Wuchopperen and inSydney;• Qualitative – including thematic assessmentand analysis - and quantitative data analysisand interpretation;• Draft report preparation and delivery ofprimarily qualitative findings to the SteeringCommittee;• Incorporation of feedback from SteeringCommittee and other stakeholders;• Second draft prepared for review by theSteering Committee and the WuchopperenBoard of Directors;• Incorporation of final revisions;• Proofing and preparation of Final Reportand submission for approval to publish;with contemporaneous production of PosterPresentation and journal article• Preparation and presentation of theCommunity Report – based on the FinalReport.87Filling the Gap
