They have to coordinate with HMC forthe proper execution of RSBY Activities and they are eligible for 50 rupees incentives per casesubject to a maximum of 5000/- per month and PROs posted in DPM Offices are not eligible for anyRSBY incentives. They have to report the Monthly and weekly RSBY to the concerned authoritywithout fail.Implementation of BCC activities for all 5 Components of NRHM


RCH IIAdditionalities under NRHMImmunizationDisease Control/ surveillance Programme such as NVBDCP, RNTCP, NPCB, IDD, NLEP andIDSPIntersectoral Convergence activities including nutrition, safe drinking water etcHMIS: Monthly reporting in the NRHM reporting format to district & State to be submitted regularly,timely & correctly.Review Meetings: He/she should take part in all the review meetings as per the schedule andsent a report on the same to the District Program Manager (Arogya Keralam).Finance: Keep track of funds received for NRHM from District for various activities. Follow up withall implementing agencies of the institution in which he/she is working for expediting utilization offunds. Prepare monthly SOE and Utilization certificate and forward it to the District ProgramManager (NRHM). Guide the institution in better financial management.Convergence activity: The PRO will have to liaise and coordinate Social Welfare Dept, PRI, andall other State holders. He/She will have to organize workshop/meeting with above-mentionedstakeholders in order to get full cooperation from them regarding implementation of NRHM / otherprograms.Documentation: Document events, best practices, initiatives etc at institution levelKeep contacts with District Programme Management Unit (DPMU) frequently to get the updatedinformation regarding implementation of NRHMAny other job that may be assigned by the Superintendent, PHC, District Program Manager (ArogyaKeralam), Chief Executive Officer, DHS, District Programme Management Unit (DPMU), State<strong>Mission</strong> Director (Arogya Keralam) etc.Preparation of Plan and design various programmes of State/District <strong>Health</strong> and Family WelfareSocietyLiaise closely with all line departments on planning and implementation of NRHM activities.Build capacity of the District & Block level personnel for plan preparation process.Identify a process which helps to plan the health action plan under the guidance of State <strong>Mission</strong>Director and experts.Support all the Programme teams in preparing plans, annual action plans. Update theimplementation plan by initiating changes, monitoring and evaluation of activities of NRHM based ontimeline of NRHMOther responsibilities, as deemed necessary time to time.Job Responsibilities of PRO cum Liaison Officers (BAC)PRO cum Liaison Officers (BAC) to coordinate all NRHM Programmes and activities at blockarea including GH/DH/THQH/GoH/CHC/FRU/Block PHC/SC.Assist the Medical Officers i/c of all health institutions in their area in preparation of Ward <strong>Health</strong>Plan and Block <strong>Health</strong> Action Plan and implementation of NRHM.


Organize <strong>Health</strong> Day in each village monthly in selected places involving district Media Expert/ fieldstaff / ASHA of the village/ Anganwadi Worker / JPHN / PRI Members / MNGO/FNGO and Male<strong>Health</strong> Worker. To maintain the records of service delivery in the health day in the prescribedformats.Assist M.O., i/c Block PHC, CHC in conducting dissemination workshop for all Guidelines in respectof all Programmes among all functionaries upto the Sub-center level.Assess training load and needs in consultation with all the categories of <strong>Health</strong>care Providers, viz.Medical Officer/SN/JPHN/LHV etc. in the Block area and assist in preparing training calendar of SBAtraining/ IMNCI/ IST / IUD for JPHNs & LHV/, MTP for Medical Officer.Training of ASHA (7 days induction training with Module I) & 2 nd , 3 rd & 4 th Module for 4 Days X 4Total days of Training for ASHA=23 Days) has to be organized at Block level. The training is to beimparted by Block Training Team whenever necessary.Implementation of BCC activities for all 5 Components of NRHM (1. RCH II 2. Additionalitiesunder NRHM 3. Immunization 4. Disease Control/ surveillance Programme such asNVBDCP, RNTCP, NPCB, IDD, NLEP and IDSP 5. Intersectoral Convergence activitiesincluding nutrition, safe drinking water etc.Monitoring: The activities of contractual JPHN and ASHA are to be monitored regularly usingprescribed format. He/She will report the same to the authority concerned with a copy to State<strong>Mission</strong> Director, NRHM. He/She will also assist in the activities of Accountant in <strong>Health</strong> Institutionsso that the Accounts are maintained properly and fund is utilized judicially and in timeHMIS: Monthly reporting in the NRHM reporting format from Sub centre to PHC and PHC to district &State to be submitted regularly, timely & correctly.Review Meetings: BAC should take part in all the review meetings as per the schedule and sent areport on the same to the District Program Manager (Arogyakeralam).Finance: Keep track of funds received for NRHM from District to various health institutions / Wardsetc under their jurisdiction. Follow up with these institutions for expediting utilization of funds.Collect monthly SOE and Utilization certificate from these institutions and forward it to the DistrictProgram Manager (NRHM). Guide the institutions in better financial management.Convergence activity: The BAC will have to liaise and coordinate Social Welfare Dept, PRI,MNGO, FNGO and all other Stake holders. He/She will have to organize workshop/meeting withabove-mentioned stakeholders in order to get full cooperation from them regarding implementationof NRHM. Coordinate intra Communication activities at block level, coordinate orientation activitieson Intersectoral convergenceMother NGO and Field NGO: In every district there will be one Mother NGO under which FNGOwill render RCH advocacy in uncovered and under covered areas in the block. Moreover they willbe the mentor of ASHA, so BPM will have to maintain constant touch and coordination with theboth MNGO & FNGO.Team Work: The NRHM activities could be implemented in the block level in true sense onlyby an efficient <strong>Health</strong> Team at block level constituted by all Medical Officers, LHV, SN, JPHN, FieldWorkers, <strong>Health</strong> Educator, supervisors, Male <strong>Health</strong> Workers, ASHA etc. The idea of introducingBlock Programme Management Unit (BPMU) is to support, assist and coordinate the <strong>Health</strong> team.

Candidates with MBA/MHA/MSc in Hospital Management with two years of postqualification experience. Project work conducted as a part of study will not beconsidered as experience.2. The vacancies maychange after this notification due to transfer. If so, recruitment will be done onlybased on the requirement at the time of finalization of vacancies.7. The maximum age limit will be 40 years.8. The undersigned will have the power to relax age, qualifications for the post. Theselected candidate should be willing to relocate anywhere in the State.9. The applicants should have excellent writing skills both in English and Malayalamand should be proficient in computers. Thorough knowledge of MS Office/OpenOffice is essential.10. Selection will be based on qualifications, post qualification experience andperformance in the interview/written test.11.
