noted; 3–4 per sq. ft; whz 3–8.
Accent – an American
bred daffodil with crisp
white petals and a sunproof,
salmon pink cup; an
upfacing, vigorous grower
through ivy and vinca; one
some fusarium
issues) A beautifully
N. ‘Ambergate’
N.’Ambergate’ is registered
as one with orange
petals and an orange
cup. Here in Tidewater
Virginia where springtime
can be hot and dry,
the petals are sometimes
more dark gold
than orange. However,
when the weather is cool
and moist, the colors are
much more intense. If
you live in an area that
may get too hot for this
to have really good color,
you may want to plant it
where it is shaded from
the hot afternoon sun.
