YASHADA is a premier institute of theGovernment of Maharashtra with over fourdecades of experience, and meets thetraining and research needs of Stateand Union government departments,elected representatives and NGOs.With various specialized centers andcells, Yashada imparts training to over20,000 functionaries each year in everyaspect of governance and developmentadministration.Dr. Ambedkar Competitive ExaminationCenter (<strong>ACEC</strong>) was set up at YASHADA,Pune, in May 2006, under the ScheduleCaste Sub Plan (SCSP) through fundingfrom Department of Social Justice andSpecial Assistance, Government ofMaharashtra to provide coaching for CivilServices Examination, to the youth ofMaharashtra especially from the weakersection of the society. <strong>ACEC</strong> aims at tappingthe talent in students, encouraging them toappear for Civil Services Examination andfacilitating their preparation for the UPSCexamination.Objectives of <strong>ACEC</strong>:To create awareness among the youth ofMaharashtra, specially from the deprivedsections, about aims and objectives,procedures and relative advantages ofvarious competitive examinationsparticularly Civil Services Examination.To inculcate in them the culture of servingthe community and the nation.To plan and conduct coaching and trainingprogrammes for successful participationin competitive examination.To muster support for coaching fromeminent administrators, academiciansa n d p r o f e s s i o n a l e x p e r t s f r o mmanagement, training and researchinstitutions.Keeping in view the entrance examinationfor selection of deserving candidates for<strong>ACEC</strong>, the Centre For Talent Search andExcellence (CTSE) was invited to conductthe said examination.About our Partner - CTSE1Centre For Talent Search and Excellence(CTSE) was established in 1985 inNowrosjee Wadia College, Pune with theobjective of inculcating a competitive spiritamongst the school students. This lead tothe Maharashtra Talent Search (M.T.S.)project which aimed at unearthing andidentifying hidden talent in the rural andurban students in the schools fromMaharashtra.In 2010 this immensely popular MTS examinationwas conducted for about 1,08,000 students at 637centres across Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa, Karnatakaand Jammu & Kashmir.For the last 3 years CTSE has been conducting theGraduate Excellence Examinations (GEE) inMaharashtra for undergraduate students of alldisciplines to equip them for various competitiveexaminations after graduation.ELIGIBILITY OF STUDENTAny graduate from any faculty from a recognizedUniversity (Medical graduates, should havecompleted internship)Age limit 21 to 30 yrs.
