This will help extend the life of the lamp.Push the lamp pins completely into the socket holes.1


1C#6-32 SCREWIMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONSTo reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock, exposure toexcessive UV radiation, or injury to person:– Use this fixture indoors only.51– Do not look directly at the lighted lamp.– Do not remain in light if skin feels warm.– Risk of fire: Use only the type of lamp and maximumwattage indicated in this instruction manual.– Never cover the halogen lamp with anything other than a<strong>Tech</strong> <strong>Lighting</strong> lamp shield and never place flammablematerial close to your fixture.GLASS SCREEN– Never turn the fixture on and off by connecting anddisconnecting the halogen lamp.5Close the glass screen and tighten the two #6-32 screwswith a Phillips screwdriver.SPECIAL INSTALLATION:Locking the Fixture in PermanentPosition (Optional)2A– Do not touch the fixture shades or lamp shield while thefixture is on. These surfaces may be HOT.Halogen Lamp General Information– A new halogen lamp may smoke slightly when it is usedfor the first time. This is perfectly normal; the protectivecoating is simply being vaporized.Two Tips For Prolonging HalogenLamp Life– First avoid touching the lamp with bare hands duringinstallation. Any contaminant, even the oil from yourhands can deteriorate the lamp. Rubbing alcohol can beused to remove any contaminant.1– Second, do not run the lamps at full power when you donot need to.
