<strong>International</strong> Arrivals LoungeThe <strong>International</strong> Arrivals Lounge is a welcoming andcomfortable area for new international student arrivalsand provides:■■easy access to a range <strong>of</strong> support services■■guidance and assistance with your enrolment■■■■■■■■free internet and telephone access so that you cancontact family and friends as soon as you arrivea comfortable area to relax inrefreshmentstransfer taxis to your accommodationThe <strong>International</strong> Arrivals Lounge opening hours are:Thursday 13th September to Friday28th September, 9.00 am to 6.00 pm,including weekendsIf you are arriving outside <strong>of</strong> these hours, please let us know sothat we can make sure support is available to you.EnrolmentWhen you arrive at the <strong>University</strong>, one <strong>of</strong> your priorities will beto enrol onto your programme <strong>of</strong> study. All new internationalstudents should go to the <strong>International</strong> Arrival Lounge to enrol.It is very important that you bring the correct documents withyou for enrolment. If you do not bring the correct documentsthen this will delay your enrolment.Documents required for enrolment■■PassportThis must include all the passport pages showingall personal identity details (including biometricdetails), leave stamps, or immigration statusdocument including your period <strong>of</strong> leave to remain(permissions to stay) in the UK. This must showyour entitlement to study with a licensed sponsorin the United Kingdom■■A copy <strong>of</strong> your United KingdomBiometric Card■■Original documentationBring all documents listed in the ‘documents usedto obtain the <strong>of</strong>fer’ section <strong>of</strong> your CAS Statemente.g. references, exam certificates and transcriptsetc. Please note that photocopies will not beaccepted■■ATAS certificate (if required)■■Evidence <strong>of</strong> any tuition paymentsyou have made■■Evidence <strong>of</strong> any <strong>University</strong>scholarships which you havebeen awarded.When you have enrolled you will receive a <strong>Student</strong> ID card whichwill allow you access to <strong>University</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Lincoln</strong> facilities such asThe Library and the Sports Centre. You will also be able to useyour card to gain discounts in some shops and restaurants.
