Thus, EPA has no recovered materialscontent level recommendations for floor tiles made with recovered materials for standard office or more generalpurpose uses.2EPA’s recommendation does not preclude a procuring agency from purchasing garden and soaker hosesmanufactured from another material. It simply requires that a procuring agency, when purchasing garden and soakerhoses made from plastic or rubber, purchase these items made with recovered materials when these items meetapplicable specifications and performance requirements.7
