CORRESPONDENCE: None.MANITOWOC BUILDING/GROUNDS (Burl Cavanaugh): No changes. The remodeling of the kitchenis mostly complete. A new shade will be placed over the large mirror prior to the start of OB classesnext week. If a member arrives at the building after a snowfall, please shovel out by the front doorAND the back (that keeps us in compliance with the fire code if the fire department would “happen” todrop by)! Upcoming events at the Albert Drive clubhouse include OB classes and agility training.Check the website for times the building is being used. The second weekend in March a UKC agilitytrial will be renting the facility.AGILITY (Burl Cavanaugh): Still training the 1 st and 3 rd Wednesdays of the month—check website toconfirm or for more details. A trial secretary is needed for the upcoming AKC agility trials. Thisperson needs moderate data entry skills and will be busy for a few weeks prior to the event, duringthe event, and for a short period after. To hire help would be very expensive for the club. The LibertyAll-Breed UKC agility trial the 2 nd weekend of March needs food and workers.CONFORMATION (Dave Rivest): Classes held on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month. Thereshould be a good turnout for class prior to the Oshkosh shows.CORRECTION CLINIC (Gloria Helmer): Listed on website.FALL SHOW (Karleen Cole): After a holiday break, the group is back to work meeting on <strong>January</strong> 7 th .Judges are hired for this year and much is already in place.Denise Baumann-Cronk is already looking for trophies!!! Please contact Denise and help outwith a donation of any size. The more money we collect, the more trophies we have for theshow. Donate for your specific breed or group. If everyone would donate a little, we couldhave trophies for all dogs showing at the Fall Cluster. Contact her, please.OBEDIENCE (Myron Genrich): Tuesday <strong>January</strong> 11 will be orientation (no dogs). An excellent set oftrainers is lined up to teach. A Rally/CGC class will be held on 2nd and 4th Wednesdays. Avolunteer is needed to give Kay Christel a break from fielding the phone questions—please contactMyron or Kay if you can help with this. Myron is updating the list of volunteer trainers—please let himknow by phone, email or in person if you would like to continue or like to help in this capacity. He ishoping to start a daytime puppy class the 2nd session. It was brought to the club’s attention that asof 1/1/11, AKC will allow dogs to earn 2 legs from the same judge.RALLY: No reportSANCTIONED FIELD TRIAL: (Jerry Claybrook): Jerry reported that 68 dogs participated, down 10from 2009. It was a good trial with decent weather and help. A small profit was made (thanks tousing dead birds rather than live pigeons).CALENDAR (Julie Holschbach): Julie is continuing to keep the calendar current. Please submitdates to her—DO NOT assume they will magically appear.CLEANING (Lori Maltby): If anyone would like to clean between regular scheduled cleaning, theymay; just email Lori their hours.HOSPITALITY (Mitzi Pilon): Laurie Sales volunteered to provide treats for the April meeting.DIANA SHELEY MEMORIAL LIBRARY (Kay Baum): No report.
