Chapter III Regulations for Airport Charges<br />
airlines, whether associated through an alliance or according to § 15 of the<br />
Stock Act (“Aktiengesetz” or “AktG”), will not receive any further support:<br />
• for this route;<br />
• for new routes<br />
o for a period of one year after the date of cancellation of service<br />
or<br />
o for a period of 18 months after the date of application for<br />
support on a route for which service did not commence.<br />
Support provided for other, existing routes remains unaffected.<br />
6.10 For the purposes of paragraph 6.4, an intercontinental route is a flight<br />
connection to a destination outside of IATA Europe.<br />
The following countries constitute IATA Europe: Albania, Algeria, Andorra,<br />
Armenia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia & Herzegovina,<br />
Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France,<br />
Georgia, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy,<br />
Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Macedonia,<br />
Moldavia, Monaco, Morocco, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal,<br />
Romania, the Russian Federation, San Marino, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain,<br />
Sweden, Switzerland, Tunisia, Turkey, the Ukraine, the United Kingdom,<br />
Yugoslavia.<br />
IATA Europe Connections are intracontinental connections in respect of<br />
paragraph 6.4.<br />
7 Route Growth Incentive Scheme (SWP)<br />
7.1 On condition that the total number of passengers grows by a minimum of<br />
3.0% per year in comparison to 2005, Flughafen Hamburg GmbH offers a<br />
Route Growth Incentive Scheme (“Streckenbezogenes<br />
Wachstumsprogramm” or SWP) for the period from 1 January 2006 to 31<br />
December 2008, in order to support sustainable traffic growth. The<br />
relevant growth rate shall be calculated on the basis of the traffic figures of<br />
the respective year, as issued to the German Federal Statistical Office by<br />
Hamburg Airport, in comparison to those figures for the reference year,<br />
2005.<br />
7.2 The scheme shall support routes (based on the IATA 3-letter codes, e.g.<br />
HAM-LON) with an annual growth rate of more than 3.0% in comparison<br />
to the reference year, 2005. The calculation shall be based on the number<br />
of passengers boarding at Hamburg according to the final destination<br />
statistics of Flughafen Hamburg GmbH.<br />
7.3 An airline must notify Flughafen Hamburg GmbH (Aviation Marketing) in<br />
writing if it wishes to participate in the SWP scheme.<br />
