S &T/Con/02 of 2011North Eastern Railway4.4.4.2 For minimum tunnel size 1000 mm x 1000 mm: Minimum 1600 diodes4.4.5 The X ray baggage screening system shall have transparent colour feature providing a crisp, clearand robust colour images enabling the operator to interpret threat objects with a higher degree ofconfidence.4.4.6 The X ray baggage screening system shall have an operator interface with a touch-sensitive padallowing operator for a continuous heads-up operation.4.4.7 The machine should be capable of tri-material discrimination, organic/inorganic stripping, reversevideo, pseudo colour imaging, image annotation, real time continuous diagnostics and edgeenhancement.4.4.8 The machine should have image zooming capability from minimum 2X – 16X zoom andcontinuous zoom up to minimum 64X.4.4.9 Each machine should have Threat Image Projection (TIP) software which can insert fictitiousthreat image at periodic intervals and tracks operator responses, allowing supervisors to assess theeffectiveness of screening operations and encouraging operators to stay alert.4.4.10 The system shall have image archive option that supports storage of up to minimum 20,000images, with image retention determined by the user-defined expiration dates or on a first-in,first-out basis.4.4.11 Administrator shall be able to access the recorded image of any machine within the railwaystation or railway establishment from his supervisory workstation.4.4.12 The system shall have audio and visual alarm for a threat after it has compared scanned objectsto data on known threats and shall highlight suspect items for further analysis.4.4.13 All the equipments installed outside the control room shall be able to withstand 00 C to +500 Cand humidity of 95% non condensing.
