Rent for standThe rent for the stand per sqm stand area is:300,- euros + 3.00 Euros / sqm lump-sum environmental costsAll prices are plus the statutory VAT.The minimum stand area to rent is 6 sqm.The rent for the stand includes:Rent of the stand area during the exhibition, time for installation and removal,general illumination and cleaning of corridors.Furniture, electricity and additional equipment can be rented and will becharged separately. Further information about this will be sent to you togetherwith the stand confirmation.6. RegistrationThe organiser decides on the registration of the registering exhibitor and theregistered objects for the exhibition by means of a written confirmation. Bymeans of registration, the contract comes into being. Any reservations orconditions included in the registration require a written confirmation by theorganiser to take effect. It is not allowed to sublet the stand area to others andneeds to be permitted explicitly by the organiser. The organiser will charge anadditional fee for the approved sublet of the stand area. The organiser mayexclude individual exhibitors or suppliers from the exhibition for objectivelyjustified reasons, especially in case of lacking space and if it is essential to limitthe exhibition to certain groups of exhibitors or suppliers in order to achieve theaim of the exhibition. Furthermore, the organiser can restrict the registeredobjects for the exhibition and to alter the registered area.7. ExhibitorsProducer and traders of pharmaceutical and medical products, bookseller,clinics, publisher, financial service provider and insurance companies areallowed to participate in the exhibition8. Withdrawal from registration / Revocation of registrationAfter being granted the registration, the exhibitor has to pay the full rent for thestand even if he withdraws or does not participate. In addition to that, theorganiser reserves the right to claim for damages. If the stand area can be onrented,the organiser will be entitled to claim for cancellation costs of 25 % ofthe charged rent for the stand against the first tenant who has withdrawn fromthe contract. The organiser has the right to revoke the registration and to onrentthe stand area:- if the stand is not occupied recognizably in time (see point 13)- if the rent for the stand is not paid by the fixed date- if the exhibitor misses a grace period given by the organiser9. Terms of paymentAll amounts charged by the organiser are net, payable by the date stated onthe stand confirmation / invoice. If the rent is not received within the specifiedtime, the exhibitor will not be entitled to participate in the industrial exhibition,regardless of the continuation of his obligation to pay.An interest for default of 3.5 % p. a. above the discount fixed by the FederalBank will be charged in case of late payment.10. AdvertisingAny sort of advertising is only allowed within the stand rented by the exhibitorand only for the exhibitor’s own company and the exhibited articlesmanufactured or distributed by the exhibitor’s own company. All advertisingeffort outside the stand area has to be approved by the organiser of theexhibition.11. InsuranceThe exhibitor is liable for any personal injury and any damage to property thatmay occur as a result of operating the objects and goods exhibited by him. It isadvisable for the exhibitors to take care of an adequate insurance cover. Theorganizer accepts only the general liability for the exhibition. He takes out apersonal liability insurance for the exhibition, for personal injury and damage toproperty for which he can be hold liable according to liability regulations.Articles brought to the venue are at the owner's risk; the organizer and themanaging company accept no responsibility for articles deposited.12. AlterationsThe organizer reserves the right to cancel the exhibition, to alter the date andthe duration, as well as the venue of the exhibition or, if the space situation,regulations by the authorities or other compelling circumstances in theorganizer's opinion require, to move, to alter in terms of dimension or to restrictthe area put at the exhibitor's disposal. The exhibitor may not claim damagesor withdraw from the contract as a result of this.13. Times for installation and removal*Installation*:Saturday, 27 th August, 2011 08:00 am - 06:00 pmStands that have not been started to be installed - without prior agreement withthe organizer - by Saturday, 27 th August, 2011 04.00 p.m. will not beconsidered any more and will be treated as withdrawal from registration (seepoint 8).Removal*:Thursday, September 1 st , 2011* Subject to alterations01:30 pm - 10:00 pmFor safety-relevant reasons, an early removal is forbidden! If the instruction isdefied, the exhibitor is charged with a penalty under a contract of half the rentfor the stand.At the end of that period of time, the stands respectively the exhibits will beremoved at the cost of the exhibitor and without any liability on the part of theorganizer's.14. List of exhibitorsOn the occasion of the 12th International Conference on Systems Biology –ISCB 2011, August 28 th – September 1 st 2011, CC Rosengarten Mannheim, alist of exhibitors will be published. There is no responsibility on the organizer'spart in case of missing or faulty entries, printing errors, etc.15. Stand construction / Stand design / Safety regulationsAll stands have to be installed as self-supporting constructions. Fastenings onthe walls, pillars and floors of the halls are not allowed. Pillars, buttresses,projections etc. within the exhibition area are part of the allocated space. Theexhibitor is liable for any damage owing to violations.The organizer reserves the right to ask the exhibitor to alter inadequate standconstructions or to remove unsuitable objects that prove to be a nuisance or adanger to the visitors or to neighbouring exhibitors.In general, a maximum flooring height of 2.5 cm is permitted. Exceedingconstruction heights require a written approval by the organizer and have toshow canted edges.Fire alarms, hydrants, electrical distributors, switchboards and telephonedistributors have to be accessible. It is prohibited to use open fire or nakedlight, e. g. spirit, fuel oil, gas etc.All kind of material used for stand construction and decoration have to beflame-resistant. During installation and removal, as well as during theexhibition, all regulations by the police and the authorities have to be observed.Sticking of floor coverings is only allowed by means of readily solubleadhesives. The exhibitor will be charged with the cost of special cleaning incase of tape remnants. Sticking up of advertising material on the walls, pillarsor other parts of the venue is not allowed.16. Exhibitions sponsored by the industryEvents sponsored by the industry are not allowed to take place directly before,during or directly after the congress without prior consultation with theorganizer.17. CateringFood and beverages for catering on your stand are provided by the servicepartner of Congress Center Rosengarten - Mannheim:Dorint Kongresshotel Mannheim. Ban on smokingInside the exhibition buildings, smoking is strictly forbidden on all days ofinstallation and removal, as well as during the exhibition. The exhibitor is liableif the ban is defied.19. Place of performance / Place of jurisdictionPlace of performance and place of jurisdiction for all mutual obligations isMannheim.
