Alexandra Centre Society2010 /2011 Annual Report To Our Communities- Napoleon HillNon-profit service providers face new challenges due to constantchanges in our financial landscape. The Alexandra Centre Society(ACS) hopes to find creative ways to build a sustainable income base.The capital project funds, which we received last year through TheCity of Calgary’s Capital Conservation Fund, The Provincial CFEPfunding, and generous donations from the Fort Calgary Lions andFleischmann’s Yeast have given our building a much needed faceliftand improved accessibility.The Alexandra Centre is a unique and vibrant community resourceand an intended legacy, for future generations. The Centre remainstrue to its founding mandate and values, while continuing to evolvewith its communities, and the unique skills and strengths of its Boardof Directors.The ACS continues to be guided by its philosophy of, A heritage ofpeople meeting people. ACS programs are stable. ACS Early Childhoodprograms remain popular and timely for the growing number ofyoung families in the area. Yoga too remains popular and ever indemand.
