DIVIDEND POLICYThe dividend policy of each Share Class is described in Appendix D.Eight Classes of Shares are available, namely Class A, Class C, Class D, Class E, Class I, Class J, Class K and Class Z Shares, although all arenot available for each of the Funds. Investors should refer to www.aberdeen-asset.com for current details of which Classes of Shares are inissue. These Classes of Shares are further divided into Class A - 1 and A - 2 Shares, Class C - 1 and Class C - 2 Shares, Class D - 1 and D - 2Shares, Class E - 1 and Class E - 2 Shares, Class I - 1 and I - 2 Shares, Class J – 1 and Class J – 2 Shares, Class K -1 and Class K – 2 Sharesand Class Z - 1 and Z - 2 Shares.Class A, Class C, Class I, Class J, Class K and Class Z Shares may also be made available in Euro, Japanese Yen, Sterling, Swedish Krona orUS Dollar hedged versions or such other currencies as the Directors of Aberdeen Global IV may determine from time to time. Reinvestment of income topurchase Shares is also available.Class A-2 and Class C-2 Shares – The Board of Directors does not intend to declare any dividends in respect of these Classes of Shares.Accordingly, the net investment income attributable to these Classes of Shares will be reflected in their respective Net Asset Values.Class D-2, Class E-2, Class I-2, Class J-2, Class K-2 and Class Z-2 Shares – Dividends of net investment income will be declared andaccumulated within the Share Price of this Class of Share. This will be accumulated on an annual basis.The dividend policy of the hedged Share Classes are the same as that of the underlying Shares.For those Shares in issue, subject to income being available for distribution, the Board of Directors intends to declare dividends for allClasses of Shares, except Class A-2, and Class C-2.
