There’s a lot of family timewhen you’re out there with your kids showingthem how to take care of animals andgetting them ready for the Youth Fair, teachingthem responsibility.”Slate echoed those sentiments.“The idea is to keep kids involved andteach responsibility,” she said. “Our wholegoal is to keep them out of trouble and gearthem toward something productive.”Youth will be working the event Mondaynight, helping to set up, serve meals andclean up.
