7. Strategic lines of the projectProof of Concept: Tumors Committee Clinical environment. Multidisciplinary meetings. Presentation of clinical cases. Evaluation forum for diagnosis discussion. Relationship with other hospitals and physicians Work with different type of images and media.To ensure the success of the project: Clinical Champion: clinical leaders, mainreferences of the projects. Data Manager: to support the initial collectingof media and train users.

8. Proof of Concept: Schedule Set up of the platform (Medting Enterprise). Identification and selection of clinicalchampions and leaders. Initial training to Champions and collectingof 10 clinical sample cases. Training to involved clinicians over the initial samples. Introducing Medting as a tool for the TumorsCommittee. Proof of Concept: Current StatusPrototype in Hospital Gregorio Marañón:High user acceptance and satisfactionOther clinical committees are demanding to start using the platform.It has generated new ideas for virtual collaboration, internationalexchange, etc.Breaking some rules: hierarchical barriers tend to disappear ina Social Network.Planning the extension of the project under an appropriate andcontrolled Plan.

Madrid’s Scientific Social NetworkOther initiatives• Teleradiodiagnostic Central Unit in Hospital Infanta Sofía: 122 Radio diagnostic Groups. 48 Interconnected Workstations. 900.000 studies per year 1,14 mill. citizens attended•Teledermatology:• Cardiologic Central Unit in Hospital Carlos III: Central Structure located in Hospital Carlos III Patients cardiologic proofs and analysis implemented. Coverage all Madrid care canters. Same infrastructures as Cardiologic andRadiodiagnostic solutions: efficient use of resources. To be implemented within the next 6 months.
