It is accommodatedin a modern, robust die-cast aluminium housing with an eye-catching designproviding protection class IP 65.Inside the housing, the high-efficiency LED modules with the Osram OS GoldenDragon Plus emitters are mounted on the bottom of a specially developed thermaldrainage device. Efficient thermal coupling is provided by the high-quality IMSsubstrate of the module using a thermally conducting silicon elastomer – atechnology similar to LED modules used in the automobile industry.With a system energy requirement of only 31 / 62 Watt, these LED lamps generate alight yield of 2,300 / 4,600 lumens.A specially developed power supply operates nearly without loss. To protect thesystem against excessive temperature, a control loop with temperature measurementis fitted on the LED module. A LED failure protection circuit ensures additional safety.The implemented lowered night-time lighting circuit can further reduce the output ofthe economic circuitry to 55%, i.e. another improvement of the successful energybalance is realised.The LED with a luminous flux higher than 100 lm/Watt is equipped with a directlyspray-applied silicone lens, which distributes the light regularly in the target area.Thus light smog is prevented and the efficiency is concentrated on the target area.The lamps are ideal for street lighting, as well as efficient lighting for parking spacesas for lighting tasks in factory courtyards and loading zones.www.herkules-resotec.de1/2
