Measure your area to be paved to determine quantity of
pavers required. This area is simply calculated by Length
(m) x Width (m) = area (m2) for basic square or rectangular
spaces (m= metres).
For odd shapes, break your area into sections.
For triangular areas
1) 5m x 3m = 15m 2
2) 4m x 2m = 8m 2
3) 3m x 4m = 12m 2
Total = 35m 2
1/2 x base (m) x height (m) = area (m 2)
e.g. 1/2 x 4m x 3m = 6m 2
Note: Boral takes no responsibility in quantities calculated.
* Allow up to 10% extra pavers for wastage such as cuts and breakages
* You can also measure your area using our on-line calculator. Go to www.boral.com.au/pavingcalc
Calculation for above diagram:
Area 1 4.0m x 0.3m = 1.2m 2
Area 2 4.0m x (0.5m/2) = 1.0m 2
Total = 2.2m2 Boral recommends that even pre-sealed pavers be resealed with a quality penetrating sealer following installation.
Note: (1) RRP includes free delivery on orders of 2 full pallets or more in Melbourne delivery zones.
If under 2 pallets in Melbourne delivery zones an additional charge of $92.40 (inc GST) applies
(with exception of Bringelly ® clay pavers).
Manual Retaining Wall Calculation
Measure your area of the wall to determine the quantity
of blocks required. This area is simply calculated by
Length (m) x Height (m) = Area (m2) for basic square
or rectangular spaces (where m = meters).
Step 1: Measure the area of the retaining wall.
To do this you will need:
– The length of the wall.
– The height at both ends of the wall.
This area is simply calculated by length x height for basic
square or rectangle spaces. For odd shapes break your area
down into several sections. For triangular areas use half
base x height to calculate your area.
Step 2: Increase your total area by 10% to allow for cuts,
part blocks & breakages.
(3) Specifications subject to change without notice. Please re-confirm at time of order.
(4) All deliveries made to nature strip only (unless otherwise stated).
(5) For ease of maintenance sealing of pavers and retaining walls is recommended.
(6) Some surface pinholing is a normal charateristic of wetcast concrete products.
