<strong>Pr<strong>of</strong>ile</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Senior</strong> <strong>Management</strong>Dato’ LIEW Chen Chuan, Malaysian, aged 71, was appointed as the executive director <strong>of</strong> Sin Chew on 1 April 1991, and was redesignatedas managing director effective from 1 September 2004. He serves as the Chairman <strong>of</strong> the Executive Committee <strong>of</strong> Sin Chewand is the <strong>Senior</strong> Advisor to the Group Executive Chairman <strong>of</strong> the Company. He joined Sin Poh (Star News) Amalgamated Malaysia SdnBerhad (former publisher <strong>of</strong> Sin Chew Daily) in 1961 as a reporter, and was made Editor-In-Chief in 1981. He is currently the member <strong>of</strong>Advisory Council <strong>of</strong> the Malaysian National News Agency (BERNAMA) and the Advisor to the World <strong>Chinese</strong> <strong>Media</strong> Research Centre <strong>of</strong>Beijing University. He sits on the board <strong>of</strong> Yayasan Sin Chew as a trustee and holds directorships in several private limited companies.71Mr ONG See Boon, Malaysian, aged 58, joined the Group in 1997. He is now a member <strong>of</strong> the Group Executive Committee and HongKong Executive Committee and is the Hong Kong Group Editorial Director and Special Assistant to the Group Executive Chairman. Healso holds directorships in various subsidiaries <strong>of</strong> the Company. Mr ONG, who started his career as a journalist in Sin Chew, has over 33years <strong>of</strong> experience in the newspaper industry in Hong Kong and Malaysia. Before joining the Company, he held various key positionsand directorships in the Rimbunan Hijau Group <strong>of</strong> companies in Mainland China.5833Mr NG Chek Yong, Malaysian, aged 52, joined the Group in 1988. He is an executive director <strong>of</strong> Sin Chew, and is a member <strong>of</strong> theMalaysian Executive Committee. He is also a director and the Chief Executive Officer <strong>of</strong> Mulu Press Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary<strong>of</strong> Sin Chew, and the Regional Editor <strong>of</strong> East Malaysia for Sin Chew Daily. He began his career as a reporter/feature writer with See HuaDaily News in 1979. In 1988, he joined TO-DAY News Sabah as the Chief Reporter. He then took up the position <strong>of</strong> a reporter in SinChew. From 1980 to 1988, he was the Secretary-General and Chairman <strong>of</strong> Sarawak Constellation Poetical Society. <strong>Pr<strong>of</strong>ile</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Senior</strong> <strong>Management</strong>Mr NG Kait Leong, Malaysian, aged 57, joined the Group in 2007. He is an executive director <strong>of</strong> Nanyang, and is a member <strong>of</strong> theMalaysian Executive Committee. He graduated from London College <strong>of</strong> Printing, London, United Kingdom and later obtained an AdvanceCertificate in Graphic Reproduction from City & Guilds <strong>of</strong> London Institute, United Kingdom. He was the Production Manager <strong>of</strong> Nanyangfrom 1974 to 1983, was promoted to the position <strong>of</strong> <strong>Senior</strong> Production Manager in 1983 and became the General Manager (Production)from 1986 to 1989. He joined Sin Chew as Technical and Project Consultant in 1990, joined MAN Roland Asia Pacific as RegionalTechnical Director in 1993 and re-joined Sin Chew as Group Technical & Project Consultant from 2002 to 2006.57Mr CHEUNG Kin Bor, <strong>Chinese</strong>, aged 54, joined the Group in 1986. He is the Chief Editor <strong>of</strong> Ming Pao Daily News. He is also amember <strong>of</strong> the Hong Kong Executive Committee and a director <strong>of</strong> Ming Pao Newspapers <strong>Limited</strong> and Mingpao.com <strong>Limited</strong>. Mr CHEUNGgraduated from the <strong>Chinese</strong> University <strong>of</strong> Hong Kong with a Bachelor <strong>of</strong> Business Administration Degree and has over 31 years <strong>of</strong>publishing and editorial experience in Hong Kong. Before joining the Group, he had worked with Hong Kong Economic Journal Monthlyand Hong Kong Economic Journal. He was the Chairperson <strong>of</strong> the Hong Kong News Executives Association in 2000.5431Mr Keith KAM Woon Ting, <strong>Chinese</strong>, aged 52, joined the Group in 1995. He is the Chief Operating Officer <strong>of</strong> Ming Pao Holdings<strong>Limited</strong> and Mingpao.com <strong>Limited</strong>. He is also a member <strong>of</strong> the Hong Kong Executive Committee. Mr KAM has been in the media andnewspaper industry since 1976. Prior to joining the Group, he had held various positions in advertising and marketing firms as well as anewspaper publishing company, namely, Express News <strong>Limited</strong>. Mr KAM has extensive managerial experience in publishing, advertisingand distribution <strong>of</strong> newspapers and media products. <strong>Pr<strong>of</strong>ile</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Senior</strong> <strong>Management</strong>Mr LAM Pak Cheong, <strong>Chinese</strong>, aged 40, joined the Group in 2000. He is the Financial Advisor to the Group Chief Executive Officer. Heis also a member <strong>of</strong> the Hong Kong Executive Committee and the Chief Financial Officer and the Company Secretary <strong>of</strong> OMG. Mr LAMhas extensive experience in financial management, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, corporate development, fund raisingand investor relations. He is an associate <strong>of</strong> the Hong Kong Institute <strong>of</strong> Chartered Secretaries and the Institute <strong>of</strong> Chartered Secretariesand Administrators.
