Most vehicle alternators are not designed to fullycharge your auxiliary batteries. In fact most aren’tdesigned with auxiliary batteries in mind at all.An insufficient charge will shorten the life andperformance of your battery investment and mayeven result in a flat battery when you least expect it.The <strong>REDARC</strong> <strong>BCDC1225</strong>, 25 amp In-vehicleBattery Charger is a three stage DC-DC batterycharger that operates from any input between9 and 32 volts DC.It is designed to charge any commonly usedautomotive battery to 100%.The <strong>BCDC1225</strong> also features a Maximum PowerPoint Tracking (MPPT) solar regulator, allowing youto deliver the maximum amount of power fromyour solar panels to your auxiliary battery.What is MPPT and how does it work?Every solar panel has a point at which a particularcombination of current and voltage output resultsin the maximum power output.
