58 TH ALL INDIA POLICE ATHLETIC CHAMPIONSHIP - 2009,THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, KERALAJOINING INSTRUCTIONS1. Introduction:Kerala Police welcomes you to the 58 th All India Police Athletic Championship -2009 which will be conducted at Thiruvananthapuram from 17/02/2010 to21/02/2010.2. Arrival:All the Team Managers on arrival in the State will report at the All India PoliceGames Secretariat of the Organising Committee located at the Chandrasekharan NairStadium, Thiruvananthapuram. Detailed schedule of the All India Police AthleticChampionshipwill be handed over to the Team Managers on their arrival.3. Accommodation:Accommodation for the participants, accompanying officials, judges and seniorofficials will be available from 15/02/2010.The Teams should bring their own bed kits.Names of Senior Officers coming to Thiruvananthapuram with the date & timeof their arrival, mode of transport and probable duration of stay may be intimatedwell in advance so as to make arrangements for their proper reception, transport andaccommodation.4. Messing:All the participating teams should bring their own mess items with cooks /camp followers. Assistance will be provided to procure gas, firewood, provisions,vegetables, meat etc.

16. Closing Ceremony:The Closing Ceremony will be held on 21/02/2010 AN at Chandrasekharan NairStadium, Thiruvananthapuram.Rehearsals for the Opening and Closing ceremonies will be conducted at 0800hrs. on 16/02/2010 at Chandrasekharan Nair, Thiruvananthapuram. All theparticipating teams should attend the rehearsals without fail.17. Managers’ Clinic:All Team Managers will attend a clinic at 1500 hrs. on 16/02/2010 at theUniversity Stadium, Thiruvananthapuram ( venue for the meet). All matters relatingto the conduct of the Championships will be discussed in the clinic and hence allManagers and Team Captains should attend the clinic without fail.18. Weather:The weather of Thiruvananthapuram during February will be moderate andpleasant. No winter clothing will be required.
