Forover 25 years Teri has been weaving exquisitebaskets and textiles from cedar, sprucetree roots, ferns, and mountain goat woolwhich she collects in the woods and alongthe shoreline <strong>of</strong> her Northwest coast home.“I was introduced to Tlingit weaving by myGrandmother, when I was a child. She livedin Pelican, AK, where I spent many summersfishing and playing in Lisianski Inlet. The fun<strong>of</strong> traditional gathering as a child continuesto fuel my investigations <strong>of</strong> climate, geology,and chemistry today as an adult.
