THE REGIONAL EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES COUNCIL OF NEW YORK CITYADVANCED EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIAN (PARAMEDIC) PROTOCOLSMEDICAL CONTROL OPTIONSOPTION A: Repeat Epinephrine 0.1 mg/kg (0.1ml/kg of a 1:1,000 solution), via the EndotrachealTube.OPTION B: Administer Naloxone 0.1 mg/kg, via the Endotracheal Tube.OPTION C: If transport is delayed or extended, and the newly born is pale and has weak but rapidcentral pulses, begin an IV/Saline Lock or IO infusion of Normal Saline (0.9% NS) 10ml/kg, via a large bore IV (18-22 gauge) or IO catheter, or a Saline Lock.
