WHY GANG GRAFFITIIS DANGEROUSThe purpose of gang graffiti is toglorify the gang.Gang graffiti is meant to create asense of intimidation and mayincrease the sense of fearwithin a neighborhood.Gang members use graffitito mark their territory or turf,declare their allegiance to thegang and to challenge rivals.

Also the photo on the right reveals gangmembers using graffiti to claim the turf or neighborhood as gang members crossout each others tags.
