As shown in Table 20, eight in ten students (80.7%) reported interacting with <strong>the</strong>irfriends at <strong>the</strong>ir home institution “daily,” ei<strong>the</strong>r in person or via some o<strong>the</strong>r means <strong>of</strong>communication. One in three respondents (30.3%) indicated that <strong>the</strong>y maintained “daily”communication with friends who were not at <strong>the</strong>ir institution, and somewhat fewer (23.9%) had“daily” interaction with <strong>the</strong>ir high school friends.
