When you buy anew tractor, you can purchase a PowerGardplan anytime from the date of delivery upto 12 months or 1000 engine hours, for thelowest possible price. After this interval,you can purchase PowerGard Protectionanytime up to 24 months or 2000 enginehours after the start of the John Deerebasic warranty, for a surcharged rate.What does the PowerGardProtection Plan cover? 1Both Limited and Comprehensive plans covermechanical breakdown caused by a defectivecomponent, due to faulty materials, ororiginal workmanship.Limited – Engine & Powertrain coverage:Main components of the engine andpowertrain are covered.Comprehensive coverage: Maincomponents of the full machine arecovered.What will my deductible be?All PowerGard plans for 7000 and 8000 Series tractors, regardless of coverage terms, havethe same deductible of $500 per work order.
