<strong>AA</strong> <strong>20</strong> <strong>Plagiarism</strong> 4the investigation will proceed to its conclusion.3.4 If the student acknowledges his/her error, impose an academicsanction at the end of this meeting or within twenty four (24)hours.3.5 After considering the information presented, including thestudent’s response if submitted, determine whether or not anact of plagiarism has occurred.3.6 If it is determined that an act of plagiarism has occurred, inconsultation with the Professor, assign the academic sanctionappropriate to the incident. Academic sanctions are assignedaccording to the nature and extent of the act of academicdishonesty. A repeated act of plagiarism will result in harshersanctions.3.7 Notify the student, in writing, of the academic sanction beingimposed, within three (3) working days of receiving thestudent response and send a copy of the letter to theProfessor.
