Useful addressesFinal examination 5136Assessment and Evaluation methods:Students will be assessed through weekly assignments, presentations, demo lessons, individualwork and written mid-term and final examinations.Demo lessons/ Presentations-40 %Class work & homework-10 %Midterm examinations- 50 %Demo lessons/ Presentations-40 %Class work & homework- 10Final examinations- 50 %Grading Standard:The score the students receive at the end of the course will depend on to what extent they havemet the course objectives and requirements. There will be presentations and demo lessons duringeach semester. There are no make up presentations and demo lessons if the student is absent.Presentations and demo lessons are compulsory for every student to fulfill the course successfully.Classroom Rules:For the students‟ success in this course, their regular attendance and participation in all phases ofthe course are essential. They are also required to do their homework regularly. If the student is absent ,or if he has failed to do his home assignment on time he may submit it on the next class day. If he doesnot do his homework I reserve the right to take grades for each unfulfilled assignment.If the student is late for half of an academic hour or more he will be considered to be absent.Students are not allowed to use their mobile phones during the lessons.Keeping a Course Notebook:The students are expected to keep a course notebook and a course portfolio with all the handouts.They are free to write as much as they wish, but as a bare minimum the students will be expected toinclude the following:theoretical issues, delivered by the instructor, specific written tasks being set by the instructor.Attendance Policy:Class attendance has a direct correlation to success in the subject. That is why the students arerequired to attend classes regularly. But problems and emergencies may sometimes keep away, and someabsences are permitted: the students may miss up to 15 % of their scheduled class. Any amount of time
