At Victoria University,
Learning in the Workplace
and Community (LiWC) is an
approach to learning and
teaching that combines theory
with practice. LiWC is offered
in all courses to enhance your
learning experiences and enable
you to gain the practical skills
and experience necessary to be
work ready and career focused.
LiWC experiences take place in a broad
range of settings such as industry or
community enterprises; on campus with
VU-specific projects or for projects for a
workplace or community; or simulated
workplace environments.
The primary role of the Business and Law
Centre for Work Integrated Learning (WIL)
is to assist Business and Law students
in preparing for employment. Our staff
negotiate with industry professionals to
develop and manage suitable positions for
Business and Law students.
