A typical example could be the distribution ofa program along a highway or motorway, and utilizing the towerinfrastructure of the GSM network or other broadcast sites.Broadcasters and network operators generally prefer thefreedom to design and operate their SFN networks to incorporatetransmitters from several vendors. Therefore the SFN solutionof TRANSRADIO is based on the industry-standard AES3 audiotransmission protocol for distributing the synthesized MPX signal. We call this format MPXd+.The SFN distribution network containsone or more „Master“ transmitter station and several „Slaves“.The Master station requires a digital stereo encoder fromTRANSRADIO and the Slave stations consist of transmitters inthe family T327XD-192.
