Operation indicators of ULTRA-QUICKfuse linksThe operation-sensing device is a fine wire which is connected inparallel with the fuse melting element. This wire is used to hold ina flag (made of thin metal band) usually placed on the upper cover.When the wire breaks because of fuse operate, the flag is pushedout and in this way an indication of operation is given.The indicator on pic.1 is a visual indication of fuse operating. Whenonly indication is not enough, we offering possibility to add amicroswitch NVS5 on the upper cover for remote signalling of fuseoperating (Pic.2).IndicatorMicroswitch NVS5Pic. 1Pic. 2Another type of signalling of fuse operating is indicator, called“middle”. It is located in the center of the ceramic body in front ofthe fuse link.
