COLLECTIONChuck Close’s Georgia (above) was seen in the film titled“Legal Eagles.”<strong>The</strong> <strong>Butler</strong>’s prestigious <strong>American</strong>Western collection is strongly representedwith seventeen images appearingin the current film release <strong>of</strong>“<strong>The</strong> Assassination <strong>of</strong> Jesse James bythe Coward Robert Ford” starring BradPitt. <strong>The</strong> <strong>Butler</strong> images (not theactual paintings) were loaned to theproduction company for a onetimeuse, and were reproduced in the filmas a part <strong>of</strong> the motion picture’s setdesign.<strong>Butler</strong> collection images appear inmany books and art catalogues, andhave been seen in other Hollywoodfilms in the past.
