It is located about 80kilometers from Qatar’s North Field, which is the world’slargest single non associated gas field with approximately900 trillion cubic feet of proven reserves.RLIC, destined to become the gas processing capital of theworld, is one of the biggest producers of LiquefiedPetroleum Gas (LPG), Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG), Gas toLiquids Products (GTL), Sales Gas for Fuels, and ultimatelypetrochemicals such as ethylene, propylene, polyethyleneand polypropylene. There is a growing presence of multinationalindustry players such as Qatargas, RasGas, Dolphin Energy,Oryx GTL, and Shell, aided by various support industries.6
