Silver Mirror Base Replacement
Thank you for purchasing your new Porsche Silver Mirror Base , below you will find installation
instructions to help you complete the installation.
Tools Need
-Flathead Screwdriver
-Torx Screwdriver
Step 1- First thing is to remove the interior mirror cover, simply insert a flathead screwdriver between
the mirror rubber seal and the mirror cover, pop the cover and push up, it should come off.
POP AND PUSH UP
Step 2- With T-25 Torx Bit or screwdriver remove all 3 screws that retain the mirror to the door and
remove the mirror simply by pulling it out.

Step 3– Push the glass all the way towards the inside interior in the housing and grab the mirror with
your fingers on the inner out part of the housing and pull the glass out, it is snapped in place, it won’t
break.

Step 4 – Detach wiring to glass and remove all 3 screws that retain the glass motor , detach wiring on
motor.

Step 5 – Remove all 4 screws of the motor support bracket.

Step 6 – Remove 2 screws that retain the mirror arms to the mirror housing.

Step 7– Remove 1 screw on the outside mirror base.

Step 8– On the mirror base notice the tabs that snap to the upper mirror housing, gently unsnap them
and push the upper mirror out, the upper mirror should come out followed by the base.

Step 9– Install new mirror base and re-assemble mirror by reversing all steps.
