The cutting pressure must be as low aspossible.The pruners must feel comfortable in the hand and must becovered with a non-slip material.For the cutting of decorative greenery, pruners with knife edgesare most suitable as these have the lowest cutting pressure.The cutting edge must be sharpened or replaced as it becomesblunt as cutting with a blunt cutting edge requires far moreforce.The pruners must be equipped with a sprung stop, e.g. rubberblocks that stop the handles when they are brought together.The weight of the pruner should not exceed 300 g.
