SEI Sample Group ReportThe SEI Group Report is a tool to explore SEI results for a team or class. Itshows objectively summarized to give a close view of the group.The SEI Group Report is the answer for organizations who want to see theteam’s results, and for coaches who want to understand the group in itsworking context.The tool can be used for: analysis of the formative needs of specific training;assessment of the ROI at the end of training; support to define organizationalstrategy; coaching for leaders to optimize team performance.THE STRUCTURE OF THE GROUP REPORTThe SEI Group Report is composed of 15 pages with detailed elaboration of thegroup’s emotional intelligence competences based on the Six Seconds’ model.For each competency there is an easy-to-interpret graph showing the numberof results in each performance zone. Additional tables report the group meansfor each competence. The 12 graphs and 2 tables make it easy to quicklyunderstand the composition of group members’ competencies.With this data the organization can notice the group’s areas of strength and ofweakness to plan focused, efficient and effective training.The Group Report includes: An introduction to the Six Seconds’ EQ Model Brief definitions of each part of the model with 12 charts showing howgroup members score in total EQ, the three pursuits of emotionalintelligence (Self Awareness, Self Management, and Self Direction), andthe eight fundamental competencies. Each chart shows how manypeople scored in each performance zone of the assessment. A summary of how many people are in the group and how manyassessments are marked invalid (for missing questions or inconsistency) Tables showing Positive Impression and Self-Criticism A summary table showing how many people scored in each performancezone, and the mean scores.The basic components of the Group Report are shown below:©2005 Six Seconds 2
SEI Sample Group ReportPERFORMANCE AREASThe Performance Zones are the same as the SEI questionnaire:Vulnerable (0-70): This area may be an obstacle for the people to meet theirgoals; it may be creating personal and professional challenges for themEmerging (71-90): This is an area where the people are showing somedevelopment of skills and awareness, and it may be helpful to continue todevelopFunctional (91-110): In most situations their skills are serving you well inthis area; they may wish to develop hereSkilled (111-130): This is probably a valuable strength for them to leverageExpert (131-150): The people appear to have unique ability in this areaTHE “SEI” EVALUATIONSCALE IS SUBDIVIDEDWITH FIVE PERFORMANCEZONES.A GRAPH PROVIDES ARAPID OVERVIEW OF THEDISTRIBUTION OF THEGROUP IN THEPERFORMANCE ZONESIN SPECIFIC THE GRAPHSSHOW THE : GENERAL IEFor example, in this chart 21people scored in the Functionalarea (91 to 110).
