Thankyou to her and to everyonewho supported her.Entry is £2 each which includes a drink, hot dog& glo-stick. Extra glo-sticks, drinks & sweets willbe on sale so please bring some money!Cirencester Cricket TournamentOn Tuesday afternoon an A and B team from Years 5 and 6 took part in a cricketfestival at Cirencester Cricket Club. There they faced competition from the likesof Stratton <strong>Primary</strong>, Cirencester <strong>Primary</strong> and Chesterton <strong>Primary</strong>.The children played very well and in a great spirit. After several closely fought matchesour B team managed to make it through to the semi-finals where they were narrowlybeaten by Cirencester A. The children all did themselves proud by trying their absolutehardest and have brought us back a super shield that we will be able to display. Well doneall of you.


Thursday 14 th July 2011Newsletter 40ScheherazadeAfter two evening performances, a matinee and a dress rehearsal to an audiencethe tired children of Key Stage 2 can look back at a very successful few days. Iam immensely proud of how well all the children have done. They have had workedincredibly hard and were practically faultless throughout everything. The DVDwill be available shortly and will be priced at £5.00. A photo gallery will beavailable on the school website soon or you could receive the photos on a CD for asmall charge of 50p.Remember; if you would like to receive newsletters with colour photos then pleasesee Brenda where she can add you to the email distribution list.Miss TurfreyYou are all aware now that MissTurfrey is sadly leaving us at the endof term. She has decided that shewould like to invite parents andchildren to a Tea party on the schoolfield. It is taking place on Tuesday 19 thJuly from 2.30pm to 3.30pm.Please see Mrs Turner for any furtherinformation or details that you mayneed.Mrs. HumpheryThis summer we also say goodbye to Mrs.Humphery who has worked with Drew inClass 2 for the year. She will be replacedby Mrs. Cheesman who will start inSeptember.Following the annual reports that came outlast week a few parents have asked forfurther clarification on what differentgrades mean. We will send out aninformation sheet very soon.
