SA NEWSPAGE 3A note fromour ChairAs we plan for our upcoming South<strong>Australian</strong> Annual General Meeting on18 October 2011, and my elected termon the South <strong>Australian</strong> Advisory Boardexpires, I have decided to retire. I reflecton my involvement with <strong>Australian</strong> <strong>Red</strong><strong>Cross</strong> for nearly 20 years, including nineyears as a member of the South<strong>Australian</strong> Advisory Board and threeyears as Chairman, with great pride. Ihave been involved with a dynamic andenduring organisation. During this time,I have seen the significant growth in therange and coverage of our services,with the expansion of offices andservices throughout the state, includingour regional and remote locations.I am most grateful for the friendshipsI’ve formed with our members, staff,volunteers and fellow Advisory Boardmembers over the years. Thecontent was developed inconsultation with members, staff andvolunteers, and draws on theirexperience and knowledge.The Kits have been funded by thenational office and production costswere offset with the generousassistance of designers andprinters.
