The 3 rd Symposium Collegial Eco-ConscienceCandidate for governorRogelio FigueroaThe 3 rd Symposium Collegial Eco-Conscience took place on April 14-16 aspreview to the Earth Week activities. Atotal of five professionals of diversevocations were able to converse about theirrole in the current environmental situation.Speakers included an apiculturist, anarchitect professor, an electrical engineer, amarine biologist and even a candidate running for governor. Attendees totaled to an approximateof 150 students and professors between both days. LED light bulbs or reusable bags (courtesyof Rock Solid Inc) were given as gifts to the first eighty (80) attendees. Gift baskets for thespeakers included local organic produce, homemade soap, and an organic shirt in a reusable bag(donated by a local company Rock Solid Inc).
