The <strong>Cinema</strong> <strong>11a</strong> surround-sound processor wascreated for the video lover with a high-performance video system. It is designed to work with anexternal video scaler or DVD player that offers high-resolution video directly to the home cinemavideo display.Utilizing the Cirrus Logic CS49700 series chipset and HDMI v1.3, the <strong>Cinema</strong> <strong>11a</strong> has the ability todecode and playback both the raw bit stream and lossless linear PCM signals from the latest highresolutionformats available from today’s high-defi nition players.The <strong>Cary</strong> <strong>Cinema</strong> <strong>11a</strong> is dual-zone, has an HD tuner as well as AM/FM tuner, auto input signalsensing, auto set-up features, discrete command codes for IR and RS 232 remote control, andRCA and XLR balanced input and output connections. The XLR balanced input and the 7.1 analogbypass input may be set to BYPASS, or they may be processed through system DSP. Zone 1 andZone 2 have separate discrete remote control codes for home automation control. Zone 1 and Zone2 remote handsets are included.The <strong>Cinema</strong> <strong>11a</strong> may be used with DVD players and other devices that convert video signalsand scale them to higher resolution. To get the optimum surround sound combined with the mostvivid, cinematic effects, match the <strong>Cinema</strong> <strong>11a</strong> with <strong>Cary</strong> <strong>Audio</strong> <strong>Design</strong>’s <strong>Cinema</strong> 11v, the highestperformingvideo scaler/switcher/processor available.
