EDUCATION REVIEW OFFICE CONFIRMED REPORTLast November the ERO review team visited the school.We have just received the final, confirmed report. The report is generally incredibly positive!!!The entire report is included in the newsletter. You will see it highlights all the good and great things that are happening at <strong>Richmond</strong><strong>School</strong>. It also notes a number of areas that the Review Office believes we need to improve on in the future.<strong>Richmond</strong> <strong>School</strong> can be very proud of what is happening here – a huge thank you to all involved. This is an important part of the reportingprogramme. It is always terrific for the teachers to meet parents and to outline their class programmes and why and how they dothings.POWHIRI – Welcome to <strong>Richmond</strong> <strong>School</strong>At the beginning of each year we hold our annual start of the yearpowhiri where we welcome new staff, children and parents to ourschool. Our new RTLB (specialist Resource Teacher of Learning &Behaviour) is Sharyn Gibbons from Cromwell and we also welcomedofficially Ange Richards who began as a teacher-aide during 2012.REGIONAL SWIMMINGSUCCESSRuby-Lou Stuart is afantastic swimmer whocompetes competitively ata local swim club level aswell as at a regional level.Recently she hasperformed creditably in herage group at a number ofregional events winningmany gold, silver andbronze medals and ribbons.Well done Ruby-Lou!!In the COLGATE GAMES inJanuary in InvercargillJORDAN STIRLING-ROWLINGwon gold in 100m, 200m and400m. He broke a Tasmanrecord in the 200m with atime of 28.66.
