The details of materials are furnishedhereunder :Conditions of auction1. The sealed tenders should be addressed tothe Deputy Director (IEC), Office of the Deputy Director(IEC), Department of Health and Family WelfareServices, Puducherry duly superscribing on the envelopeas “Tender for purchase of old/unserviceable articles”and reach the undersigned on or before 11.00 a.m.on 25-1-2012. The tenders will be opened at 11.30 a.m.on the same day in the presence of tenderers, if any inthe Office of the Deputy Director (IEC), Department ofHealth and Family Welfare Services, Puducherry.2. The highest rate quoted will be treated asminimum upset price and then public auction will bestarted immediately.3. The intending bidder should deposit an amountof ` 500 (Rupees five hundred only) in cash in theOffice of the Deputy Director (IEC), as earnest moneydeposit. The earnest money deposit of the successfulbidders will be refunded after the tender is over.4. The undersigned reserves the right to accept orreject any bid without assigning any reasons therefor.5. The successful bidder shall pay the entire amountalong with sales tax at the rate applicable under therules in force soon after the completion of tender is overand remove the materials immediately at his own riskand expenses. The office will not be in any way heldresponsible for safe custody or for any loss or damageto the sold materials.6. No claim about the condition of the materials willbe admitted once the auction is over.7. Intending bidders can inspect the items duringoffice hours with the permission of the undersigned.8.
