Zero Extra Cost to Convert Stand-alone APs into a Centralised W<strong>LAN</strong><br />
<strong>ZyXEL</strong> is first company to provide Hybrid AP solution that makes the W<strong>LAN</strong> Access Point act as a stand-alone enterprise class AP and/or<br />
W<strong>LAN</strong> controller at the same time. The hybrid AP has full flexibility for companies to deploy secure and reliable W<strong>LAN</strong> networks. In the<br />
initial phase of constructing a W<strong>LAN</strong>, the NWA-3160 can be configured as a fully functional stand-alone AP; when more APs are installed,<br />
the NWA-3160 can be set to the W<strong>LAN</strong> controller mode to manage all other access points. Moreover, when a new branch office is set up,<br />
one of the managed NWA-3160 can become another controller and to manage a separate W<strong>LAN</strong> network.<br />
Simplifying the Maintenance Efforts for a Quality W<strong>LAN</strong><br />
<strong>ZyXEL</strong> Hybrid AP solution can manage up to 24 access points while covering several alternatives of different applications, including<br />
range extension AP, dual-radio AP and Outdoor coverage AP. This support to a wide range of managed access point enables network<br />
administrators to choose the best AP for desired applications, while the management interface reminiscing single AP also helps network<br />

and managed AP are performed in a secured tunnel. Since no configuration data is stored on the managed AP, sensitive setup information<br />

Enterprise-class W<strong>LAN</strong> Functionality<br />

casing has been fire-tested for heat and visible smoke release for discrete products and related accessories installed in air-handling spaces.<br />
The test evaluates various small, non-metallic products intended for use in air-handling spaces and plenums to prove that they are not<br />
harmful to the nearby personnel in case of fire.<br />
