Transfer<strong>Planning</strong>Transfer Admission Guarantees give the student an opportunityto gain guaranteed admission to certain UC and CSU campuses.The student is required to follow all guidelines of the program,accumulate the majority of their transfer units at <strong>Ventura</strong><strong>College</strong>, and fill out an application online during the filing period.Applications for TAG are accepted online 9/1 thru 9/30. Pleasesee a Transfer Center associate for more information.The Transfer & <strong>Career</strong> Center provides an opportunity forstudents to meet with admissions counselors from several localuniversities. Frequent visitors include CSUCI, UCSB, CSUN, UCLA,Cal Lutheran, the University of Phoenix, the University of NevadaLas Vegas, National University, Arizona State University, ITTTech, the University of La Verne, and more! Most schools areavailable for appointments each month. Counselors can helpstudents with many subjects including: transcripts evaluation,questions about housing, student life, majors, cost of attendance,The Transfer & <strong>Career</strong> Center’s Annual Transfer Day activitiesare held in the quad area in the beginning of November. TransferDay gives students the opportunity to meet with admissionscounselors from universities throughout California and withseveral out-of-state universities as well.
