Following graduation from the University of Graz-<br />

Austria and different tourism and management<br />

classes Evelyn Gruber founded her first <strong>Golf</strong> <strong>Travel</strong><br />

business in 1995. While the Managing Director of the<br />

largest <strong>Golf</strong> Tour Operator in Austria, she proved her<br />

skills in marketing, financial planning & analysis, and<br />

strategic planning on a daily basis. Evelyn’s special<br />

ability to recognize the needs of the customer, the<br />

trends in golf tourism industry, and the pulse of the<br />

economy, enabled her to grow her business which she<br />

sold in 2008.<br />

In the same year Evelyn and Paul C. Clare, CTC<br />

founded <strong>Golf</strong> <strong>Travel</strong> <strong>Consulting</strong>, <strong>Inc</strong>.® with the express<br />

purpose of assisting golf destinations, tourist<br />

boards, and golf tour operators to increase their share<br />

of the lucrative golf tourism market.<br />

Evelyn has also been active with IAGTO for 10 years<br />

and so developed the <strong>Destination</strong> Training Seminar<br />

in conjunction with IAGTO as part IAGTO’s goal to<br />
