DIAZED AND NEOZEDACCESSORIESSCREW CAPThe Screw Cap types offered fit thevarious fuse and Fuse Base sizes. Theyhold the fuses in place and connect thehead of the fuse with the load side of theFuse Holder. The colored blown fuseindicator on the head of the fuse isclearly visible through a small window inthe top of the Screw Cap. A small testhole on the side of the Cap allows for aprobe to test if voltage is present on themetallic surface on the head of the fuse.ADAPTER SCREW / RINGAdapter Screws are used with theDiazed, and Adapter Rings are used withthe Neozed Fuses. Three sizes ofScrews and Rings are available to fit thediameter of the different size fuse bases.Adapter Screws are porcelain rings with acenter hole on one side, a threaded studon the other and one notch on each side.The inside diameter of the center hole ofthe Adapter Screw matches the diameterof the tip of the Diazed fuse for which it isintended. This helps to eliminate theinsertion of fuses with higher currentratings than allowed. The integralthreaded stud installs into the appropriateDiazed Fuse Base. Adapter Screws andRings are color coded to the fuses.FUSE BASEFuse Bases hold fuses in place (inconjunction with the Screw Cap) andinsure proper electrical connections.They snap easily onto standard 35mmDIN rail or can be panel mounted. Theyare available in one or three poledesigns. Matching Covers are available.The line is connected to the metal tab atthe bottom of the fuse base. The load isconnected to the metal ring into whichthe Screw Cap is installed.FUSE BASE COVERFuse Base Covers are available in oneand three pole designs to match the FuseBases we offer. They help prevent shockfrom accidental touching of conductingmetal parts on the Base.TOOLSThe Adapter Screw / Ring Tools aid inthe insertion and removal of the Adaptersfrom the Fuse Base. The Adapter ScrewTool fits into notches on the AdapterScrew for the D27 and D33 Diazedfuses. The Adapter Ring Tool fits theAdapter Rings for the D01, D02 and D03Neozed fuses.
