UNIVERSITY OF VETERINARY & ANIMAL SCIENCES, LAHOREOFFICE OF THE REGISTRARTel: 042-99211449-99211374, Fax: 042-99211461, E-mail: registrar@uvas.edu.pkNo: Regr/SR/NOTICEDated: ___________It is informed to the all students of Undergraduate and M.Phildegree programs that the tentative Merit Scholarship lists (2 nd year andabove) for the academic session, 2013-14 are being displayed on thenotice boards as well as UVAS website.Students are hereby directed to bring into the notice ofundersigned if found any error or omission in the lists at Room No. 106/110 Registrar’s office upto 20-08-2013 positively.ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA The scholarship will be awarded to only 1 st top position holder @Rs.50,000/-of each undergraduate degree programs irrespective boarderand non boarder.If topper student is receiving any other scholarship and gives option toreceive scholarship other than merit, even than the 2 nd position holder willnot be awarded merit scholarship.The students only having A & B grades in all subjects will be eligible formerit scholarship.The students having C & D Grades will not be eligible for meritscholarship.The students of Pharm.D will have to pass English subject to becomeeligible for merit scholarship.Only two merit scholarships will be awarded to all the M.Phil degreeprograms (1 st & 2 nd position holder) @ Rs.30,000/-per annum admitted inregular admission on the basis of percentage of marks obtained inpervious exam in 1 st year and on the basis of percentage of marksobtained in 1 st and 2 nd semesters including /combining the marks ofdeficiency course.Sd/-(AMJAD MEHMOOD)Assistant Registrar (SR)
