Turn left onto Tocal road travel approximately 8km and turn left into the agriculturalcollege which is well sign posted. Follow signs to parking. If you reach Paterson or TocalHouse you have gone too far. Tocal agricultural college is approximately 15km from Maitland.Map: Tocal Agricultural College 1:4,000 A great mix of busy buildings, park and open paddockCourses: Blue and Green Short Orange/Red, Long Orange/Red. The long course will have a mapchange.Entries: Enter on the day, at time to suit you, 9:30-11:30, Courses close at 1:00pm.To express our thanks to the college $1 from entry costs will go to the Tocal Agricultural collageCourse Planner: Karen &, Josh Blatchford<strong>Newcastle</strong> Street <strong>Orienteering</strong> SeriesThe <strong>Newcastle</strong> street orienteering series will be commencing on the 6th October withtwo warm up events. A detailed program for the whole series will be available soon – atevents and on the club website.Warm up Event 1: Warabrook, Start at: Warabrook Railway Station, Warabrook side.Warm up Event 2: Waratah, Start:at the Park on the corner of Alnwick Road andAcacia Ave, Waratah.These events are not part of the formal street series and have a slightly different format. 30 minute(timing to be done by the competitor) score course with mass starts at 5:15pm and 6pm. Warm up serieswinner will be the one with the most points over the two events.Thursday 4 th November7:30pmNOC MeetingVenue at the Todkill’s – 96 Lakeview street, Speers Point<strong>Club</strong> meetings are open to all members for the club. If you have ideas on club activities, please comealong and share them.Any juniors with junior diaries need to return these to either Cheryle Todkill or Carolyn Rigby as soon aspossible. The last opportunity to return these will be the event at Tocal on the 10 th October.BOSSThe second BIKE ORIENTEERING SUMMER SERIES (BOSS) will commence on the 31 stOctober at Brush Creek. The second event in the series will be at Hawkemount on the21 st November. Enter on the day between 8am and 9am. The start locations were stillbeing worked out at the time this newsletter was being prepared. A detailed program forthe whole series will be available soon – at events and on the club website.
