<strong>RC552</strong>-<strong>FE</strong> (<strong>Rev</strong>.B)Raisecom Technology Co., Ltd.10/100M OAM Media Converter with 1:1 Uplink ProtectionDatasheet<strong>RC552</strong>-<strong>FE</strong> (<strong>Rev</strong>.D) is Raisecom's latest revisedmodular 10/100Mbps OAM media converterwith 1:1 uplink protection.The media converter is equiped with a10/100Mbps auto-negotiation UTP interface atclient side, two SFP-based fiber interfaces atline side, and a CONSOLE port for web-basedmanagement IP address setup. The two uplinkis able to work in a 1:1 protected way that thetraffic will be switched to the secondary linefor transmission whenever the primary lineis broken down and be switched back to theprimary when the link recovers. The switchingtime is within 50ms.<strong>RC552</strong>-<strong>FE</strong>(<strong>Rev</strong>.B) can either be deployed in aFeaturepair or connected directly to a switch with fiberports. IEEE802.3ah OAM makes the mediaconverter be easily monitored and managed.The media converter works in RaisecomRC001/002 series chassis.
