Anne B. Standish (Wyndmoor, Pa.)<br />
Anne's <strong>Mowglis</strong> connections run several generations deep. The<br />
Standish family's most recent graduate is Anne's son, Will (Den<br />
2006), who followed in the footsteps of his father, Baird ('71), who<br />
in turn is related to Col. Matthew Baird (1916) and our current<br />
trustee Steve Minich (‘71).<br />
Anne is a media industry veteran who has held positions in<br />
marketing, promotion, events and administration at Warner<br />
Amex, TCI, Sheridan Broadcasting Network, HBO and the<br />
Nostalgia Networks. She is currently employed with WHYY, the<br />
National Public Radio affiliate in Philadelphia, and recently coordinated<br />
WHYY's regional efforts for Ken Burns's new series, “The<br />
War,” which premiered in September.<br />
A native of Pittsburgh, she is a graduate of Smith College with<br />
a B.A. in the History of Art. She also studied art history at<br />
Williams College.<br />
Leigh Anne Leas (South Orange, N.J.)<br />
Leigh Anne first learned about <strong>Mowglis</strong> at a camp fair in<br />
Princeton NJ in 2004. She and her husband Dirk were introduced<br />
to <strong>Mowglis</strong> by alumni Cam Carothers (‘05) and his dad Stu (‘69).<br />
That summer, her son Liam started at <strong>Mowglis</strong> as a Cub and has<br />
returned every year since.<br />
Leigh Anne has over 15 years experience in the pharmaceutical<br />
and healthcare industries. She currently serves as the Executive<br />
Director of Strategy & Operations for the US Managed Markets<br />
division of Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation. Her previous<br />
pharmaceutical experience includes government pricing/contracting,<br />
managed care strategy and product director roles with<br />
Novartis, Bristol-Myers Squibb and Johnson & Johnson. She is an<br />
active member of the Healthcare Businesswomen's Association<br />
and the United Methodist Church and a frequent volunteer at her<br />
son's school. The Leas have just relocated to South Orange, N.J.<br />
after spending six years as residents of Princeton, N.J.<br />
Foster “Forty” Conklin (Norwood, N.J.)<br />
Foster is a second-generation <strong>Mowglis</strong>, following in the footsteps<br />
of his father, Dr. E. Foster Conklin, Den of 1944. A graduate of<br />
Boston University, Foster has over 20 years of experience as a<br />
financial advisor for Merrill Lynch. This past summer the<br />
Conklin lineage extended to a third generation when Foster sent<br />
his son, Foster III, as a Cub. When he is not working or parenting<br />
his two children, Foster enjoys singing with University Glee<br />
Club of New York City. He lives in Norwood, N.J. with his wife<br />
Sandra, daughter Janet, son Foster III and their black lab, Sage.<br />
